All of the technologies and experience at PEM Sheet metal come together to produce custom enclosures, cabinets and cases to exceptionally high quality.

Ether designed in house using our advanced 3D CAD, or to as sub contract to customer’s drawings PEM Sheet Metal’s enclosures are used in many commercial, medical and military applications. We manufacture cases and cabinets in mild steel or aluminium with a variety of plating and or painted finishes. Stainless steel enclosures are becoming more common for medical and clean room applications and with our precision welding capability these present no problems.

We are perfectly happy to manufacture in low volumes or single units but we have the capacity to produce to many thousands if required.

We have many years of experience manufacturing complex enclosures and rack systems for the Telecoms and Military markets. We can apply the same rigourous quality to commercial enclosures ensuring the highest standards of manufacture. Medical equipment and electronics enclosures for clean rooms have there own specific requirements. PEM Sheet Metal understands these needs and can provide polished, electro-polished or grained finishes on enclosures. These enclosures can be perfectly welded, with no inclusions or dirt traps. We can then supply your cabinets cleanly wrapped, ready for further assembly.

Since a custom fabricated case or enclosure will contain all the brackets and hardware required and have all the holes and fixings already in it, our custom case work competes very favourably in price to off the shelf cases that then need all the holes and fixings put in.

We have manufactured cases as small as an inch across to cabinets and specialist enclosures many meters in each dimension. PEM sheet metal can supply all the auxiliary hardware such as hinges, feet and latches together with kits of other components such as PCB brackets and mounts, this helps to simplify your supplier base - and we deliver nationally across the UK via our own transport.
