Allocation and Use of Company Mobile Technology

The purpose of this Company Policy is to set guidance concerning the allocation and use of mobile telephones and mobile computer equipment within PEM.

Within the Company there are roles where employees need to be contactable when off-site. If this is the case, or if it is a matter of support for lone working outside of office hours , PEM will provide the employee with a Company mobile telephone. Alternatively, the Company may reimburse business expenditure made on personal mobile telephones, with prior notification and authorisation.

Employees may also have to work off site necessitating the use of a laptop to access information from the Company’s network. In these circumstances, PEM will provide the requisite equipment.

The Company reserves the right to review requirements from time to time and if necessary to require employees to return company equipment where it is no longer essential for their work.
